Ben Croft Takes Position With Racquetball Warehouse

Racquetball Junkie is reporting that Racquetball Warehouse, official retailer of USA Racquetball and the International Racquetball Tour, has announced the hiring of top-ranked professional player, Ben Croft. Croft will join the team as Business Manager with additional responsibilities as a buyer and content provider. During his transition from the court to the office, Croft will continue to play on the pro tour, attending most major events and tournaments. Croft finished # 3 on the IRT tour at the end of the 2010-2011 season and he has been on the pro tour full time since the 2006-2007 season. A native of Illinois, the right handed Croft currently resides in Denver, CO with his fiance.

Colorado Trip

I am here in beautiful Colorado Springs, CO for a few days. As soon as the plane landed it was snowing and kept on for several hours. There was a nice restaurant/brewery across the street from my hotel downtown. Here is a picture from the window at the restaurant. I'll be here a few more days. World Singles and Doubles Open Racquetball Championships Blog Post

Working on my last BIG official Championship event this year. Actually, Jim Hiser and I, Joe Williams and Jim Easterling have been working on this event since the last one in 2023. It's really a labor of love to make sure all the details, planning and extra work that goes into hosting a first class event. World Singles and Doubles Website Most people just show up, play and want to enjoy every moment in a short window of 4 days! But the preparation to get there is tremendous when you have a good strong team and committee as we do. Nobody can run an event alone, any seasoned event director knows that and will tell you that. I ran over 200 events in 18 years and then a few after that were smaller scale but still need the proper planning and coordinating from start to finish. I will do my best to document and share this last event for Jim Hiser, and all of the cool things he has planned and how we are making it all happen.
